How to approve, reject, or update the status of a case

Introduction

This article provides step-by-step instructions for updating the status of a case. If a case is Under Manual Review and has been reviewed, the underwriter can manually approve or reject it. If the applicant has been asked to provide more information for additional review, the status can be changed to Information Requested.

Step by Step instructions:

  • Navigate to the Cases tab.
  • Select the Case # to update.

  • Select the pencil icon to the right of the current status (in this example: Under Manual Review).
Change Case Status
  • An Edit Status window will appear.
    • Select the dropdown for Status and choose the desired status (Manually Approved, Under Manual Review, Information Requested, Manually Rejected).
    • (Optional) Use the dropdown to change the Assignee.
    • Enter a comment in the Comment text box (required).
      • Click the blue Apply button.
