Compliance Essentials: Understanding Worth's KYC/KYB Documentation and Verification Process
Worth requires customers to complete a Know Your Customer/Business (KYC/KYB) process, which includes verifying business addresses with required documentation. KYC & KYB obligations require Worth to verify that account holders are operating from the business address they provide on their application. If we are unable to verify addresses automatically, we may ask for extra documentation.
Acceptable documents include:
- Lease or rental agreements that must include the signature of both the property owner/landlord and the tenant
- Utility bills (water, electricity, gas, internet) dated within the past six months
- Federal or state tax returns within the past 2 years
- Articles of Incorporation
- Other government-issued business documents
