Understanding the Taxes tab within a case
Introduction
The Taxes tab provides a centralized view of tax-related information, helping underwriters gain a complete financial perspective. It displays tax overviews and filings, including tax filing graphs, IRS statistics, and a filterable table of filings. The tab also includes tax transcripts and verification data, as well as uploaded tax documents such as 1120, 990, 941, and 1040 forms.
For IRS access, IDV verification is required and is available in white-label cases only. Additionally, a manual process using IRS e-sign (Form 8820) allows requests to be sent on behalf of applicants to retrieve tax documents.
- First, navigate to the Cases tab and select the Case # to review.
